Dentistry - Dr. Athenie Brake

Dr. Athenie Brake was raised in Stephenville, Nfld.  She has been practicing dentistry for over a decade.  She decided to relocate to Fort McMurray almost 2 years ago because several of her family members and friends were living and working in the community.  Dr. Brake is very excited to set roots in Fort McMurray and proud to call it home!

Dr. Brake graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, with both her Science and Dental degrees. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1994 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998. She has won many awards over the years such as the Governor General of Canada Award.  With several years of experience, she prides herself on making Dentistry enjoyable for even the most fearful of patients.

She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry, especially Cosmetic  Dentistry and working with children.   Since graduating, she has participated in multiple advanced education courses in esthetic dentistry, oral sedation, dental implants, endodontics (root canals), orthodontics (braces), and restorative dentistry.

She is accepting new patients and looks forward to helping you with your dental needs.
