Adult Weight Management Program
This program is intended for any adult individual who has health concerns because of their weight. Family physicians will determine if individuals meet the requirements to participate in the Program.
- Individuals have access to a year long clinical program that is monitored by a physician and uses a low calorie meal replacement called Optifast 900 for the first 12 weeks.
- Individuals also take part in weekly 3 hour sessions for 16 weeks followed by monthly group sessions. The Program provides access to a team of health care professionals who work together with the physician lead.
Referrals to the program are made through a family physician.
