Comprehensive education is provided to all women diagnosed with gestational diabetes who are  referred by their family physician. Upon referral an appointment is made to visit with a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator for comprehensive information pertaining to gestational diabetes and to recevie a blood glucose monitor and written resource materials.
